Idea #1: Creation Stories
I chose this topic because I have always been interested in how our creation happened regardless of the culture or religion. Last year, I did study a few Hindu Gods and learned of Shiva, Brahma, and Vishnu. Their stories are fascinating and so is the role that they play in the universe. I would like to learn more about what each God has done when creating the universe. For this topic, I would like to focus more on Brahma and that specific creation story. I would tell the story from Brahma's perspective because it would be interesting to portray his potential thoughts during the process.Web Source: Hindu Creation Story
Idea #2: Yoga
Yoga is one of those workouts that I really want to try, but am hesitant to because I am not flexible at all. I chose this topic because of my personal need for wanting to try yoga and become a part of the yoga community. The previous knowledge I have of this topic is that is more of a spiritual connection when you are performing the poses. I also have heard that yoga is very soothing because there is meditation involved where you can self-reflect and decompress. For this topic, I would like to learn more about the poses and the history behind them. For this story, I would begin with how Yoga was created and by who, then move onto how the most famous poses were created.

Idea #3: Temples
This topic has caught my attention mainly because of the architectural design behind the temples. The previous knowledge I have of this topic is that Indian architecture is extremely beautiful and intricate. The most famous example I have of this architecture is the Taj Mahal. I would like to learn what materials they used to build these extravagant temples and how they maintain them. To tell this story, I would want to write about a famous architect and the method they choose when designing buildings. I would possibly include if there are any legends or myths associated with the Taj Mahal.

Idea #4: Food
This topic was an easy choice because I love food, especially food outside of my culture. India has some of the best recipes and personally, my favorite meal is Coconut Chicken Curry. It is sweet, but still spicy. I would like to learn how these recipes came to be or even their cultural significance. For this topic, I would pick a few main dishes and tell their history and significance. For example, if the dish is only served during their religious ceremonies or is an every day meal.
