- There were 3 fish who lived in a river
- They were named thoughtful, very thoughtful, and thoughtless
- The 3 fish left the safety of the country and swam straight into the dangers of humans
- Very thoughtful saw men catching fish with all kinds of nets
- Very thoughtful warned the other 2 fish of the dangers associated with the river
- They did not listen and swam far ahead
- They ended up getting caught and very thoughtful was left alone
- Very thoughtful knew that the other 2 needed saving and devised a plan
- Very thoughtful made splashing noises that made it seem like fish had escaped from the net
- The human picked the net up from a corner
- This allowed for the 2 fish to swim free
- thoughtful and thoughtless thanked very thoughtful for rescuing them
- Together, they returned to the safety of the country
